Welcome to Palos Verdes Estates, California!
I am from Palos Verdes Estates, California , Girls Scout Troop 11725, and this website is my Girl Scout silver award project. I created this website so that all that visit can get to know the city where I live, Palos Verdes Estates and its most popular historical landmarks based on a survey that I prepared and sent to the parents of my middle school classmates. I asked the parents to name their favorite historical site or place in Palos Verdes Estates. The locations I have included represent the most popular survey results. I created this hunt that will take you all over picturesque Palos Verdes Estates and teach you a little about its history. You can visit all of the places in person, or view them virtually at this website. There is a printable checklist listing each landmark so you can check off each place as you visit it. There is also a printable page for each landmark that you can take with you on the visit if you wish. If you complete the checklist, visiting all the places, then you can print out a certificate of completion at the end. I hope you enjoy learning about Palos Verdes Estates' history and have fun while doing it.
